Properties: Attribute User Text
The Attribute User Text properties lists the user text attached to the selected object.
Toolbar
Search
Type in the search box to only display the User Text that contains the typed text in its key or value.
New
Adds a User Text key to the object. Prefix a key with a "." (period) to add a hidden key.
Hidden keys will not appear in Object Properties > Attribute User Text.
Text Fields
Retrieves information from the current document or an object. The Attribute User Text Functions dialog only provides the functions that make sense to store in the selected object.
Custom Mapping
Removes the selected User Text key from the object. Use the SetUserText command to remove a hidden key.
Import
Reads User Text keys from a .csv or .txt file into the object.
Export
Saves User Text keys in the object to a .csv or .txt file.
Match
Copies the User Text keys in another object to the current object.
Key
The name of the UserText key.
Value
The value of the UserText key.

Indicators
The indicators in the list provide some information of the user text items.
A key shared by all the selected objects.
A key shared by some of the selected objects.
A key driven by a text field function.
Right-click context menu
Select objects by key Selects all the other objects that have the selected key.
Select objects by value Selects all the other objects that have the selected value.
Select objects by key and value Selects all the other objects that have the selected [key: value].Objects that only have the key or value will not be selected
Copy key and value Copies the selected key and value to the Clipboard.
Paste key and value Pastes the key and value from the Clipboard.- Paste key and value to all layouts Pastes the key and value stored in the Clipboard to every layout.
